Is Facegen a Great Way To Create My Own Characters?

Hello...

I Thought about buying a program To start to create my own characters.

I Have read about Facegen and it SEEMS to be an awesome way to create my own 3d characters. But BEFORE I buy this program (its kind of expensive) I wanna hear From YOU who have the talent and experiense Of creating Your Own Characters, is Facegen a GOOD way to create? Is it easy to create my own characters? Can I create textures for makeup and skin, as tattoes?

I have Blender and Zbrush aswell if there is any help?

I have downloaded the demo and played a bit with it... it seems real good BUT is it?

    The best way to figure that out is to visit the Singular Inversions website directly & test their FaceGen Artist Pro product with their fully functional watermarked test version.

    Based on my own usage and comments of other users in the forums I believe well over 90% of the customers of FaceGen are satisfied with it after purchase. It does have the option also to randomly generate both male & female faces based on common races (labeled African (Negroid), East Asian (Mongoloid), South Asian (admixture of mostly Caucasoid with significant Negroid and Mongoloid), European (Caucasoid)) . I believe some products in the DAZ Store start out as random FaceGen morphs.

    I have tested the Facegen demo and I really liked it. But Can I Create Makeup-texture, skin-texture there?

    facegen does generate texture maps, there are sliders that you could use for makeup, but i find combining facegen with skin builder to be the best option. Here are two characters I made using my daughter and her friend for the morph but using skin builder for the textures.

    I Believe I Will Buy Skin Builder aswell... Have Tested And Played Around  A Little With Facegen And Found It Much Useful!
