I am making a game Called New Starlaw

I am using Genesis as a platform for differenent re-imagined mythological species and creatures.

You can check out the first work in progress video below (NOTE: it is a year OLD, volume is LOW and video may appear boring)

I will be doing a new video showing the improvements I have done for 2013.

NEW VIDEO ( October 20, 2013):

With genesis and resources of PA's I am able to bring the fantasy of the game to life. Everything is WORK IN PROGRESS

thanks for reading!!!!!

If you haven't already, make sure you have one of these to keep you out of hot water.

Too early to see what the finished game is going to be like, but I can only assume that details like the animation are still in-progress shots and will be tidied up for the games finish. No backgrounds yet, and apparently no game mechanics aside from platforming so I can't really comment there either.

It's great to see a project take shape though, so I'll look back and see how it's coming along. Good luck.

You certainly aren't taking the easy route, with so many species :-)
The Arlumen look great, i'm very interested to see where this is going.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

I love a good platformer and this is looking gorgeous! This is exactly the sort of independent game I purchase so will follow the development with interest.

Looks really very cool. I like the mood of it, and as you say, the way you can discover areas by observing them in the background. Good luck to you!

That's one of my Small Wraps products. If you're using it in anything but a rendered cut-scene you're in violation of Renderosity's EULA.

If it's a platformer then it's probably not using actual 3D models but 2D sprites made out of 3D renders. From what I hear using Genesis's triax weighted figure is more trouble than its worth for gaming.

Actually, watching the trailer you can see that what he's using is indeed 2D spirtes made from 3D renders. No developer license needed since he's not distributing actual models in the game.

Very haunting feel to the game. Love the lighting. The mix of 2D and 3D gives an visually pleasing psuedo-retro feel.

That's cool, then. I will buy the game when it comes out. :-)

It's all renders. I did my research and made sure i was in the green for everything. It's awesome to know you've seen my work though. You are on the list of my favorite vendors. My favoirite item i hope to use is Armor of Kharadh Genesis that you have at renderosity. I really like a lot of your fantasy wears and smart props.

The game still has quite a way to go. But thanks everyone for the kind words.

Good for you, and I completely approve a creatively multiracial game using my stuff. I bookmarked your page so I can watch it develop!
