I'm really happy. Thea render crew did it. Here's some info: http://www.thearender.com/
To this version called Presto the cuda gpu render plugin is added. It still lacks a lot of features of cpu version but definitely works. The cpu version utilises several render engines and may render really fast with biased engines or gives precious results with unbiased ones. And at last they put a far more detailed manual than for previous release.
I got no linking plug-ins, as most of them are still under developement, so, I use obj import function of Thea studio. Material setup process is still a bit hard for me. But the rest is comfortable enough as it allows to merge new objects into scene and manipulate all of them, add lights of different types and control overall process through the interactive preview.
Well, I'm not arguing for buying it (as it's not that cheap), it has demo version to play with. I'm just happy like a kid with a new toy.

Quick setup of default pool with caustics and two genesis figures. 1,5 hrs render on "unbiased (TR2)" engine with low priority to use pc on main tasks. No mats and geometry modified at all, though, I'd better find out a way to make water less bluish. Anyway, I like caustics and distirsions. The genitalia area was blurred separately.

Speed test of gpu vs cpu modes. GPU render is a bit longer than 2 minutes on single gtx 580. Volumetrics are discarded by present Presto plug-in. (Subtile postwork applied after render.) CPU render with volumetrics on to have some amosphere scattering was stopped in 63 minutes (the grainy image, no postwork, i7 2600k@3,4gHz). Models from fritzhansen.com, I couldn't fix it for short time I had, so, left it untouched.

Volumetric test scene for unbiased cpu engine. The setup is very easy (no woo-doo songs around pc case like with VRay or else). Render time is about 60 minutes. One spot light and two mesh emitters to check fake and real light sources.
