I have downloaded and tried to install Daz 4.6 it went through the motions informed me that I had an earlier version of Daz(4.5) and advised me that it needed to uninstall for the new installation to go ahead, so uninstalled then 4.6 refused to install. I know get this message when trying to install again (Error running D:programs|daz studio/ dzcoreutil.exe:child killed unknown signal) which is slightly alarming to say the least LOL!! anyway I am running windows 8 64 bit and I do not want to install to my C;drive (which is a small ssd) 4.5 ran and installed fine on the D drive....advice please!!

ok Uninstallled and reinstalled and it went through ok.

But now when I try to access Daz studio I get this message DazStudio.exe - Entry point not found
the procedure entry point etc... could not be located in the dynamic link library D:\Programs\Daz Studio\VClient_release_x64.dll.

Is DS installed on your C: drive? Some people with that error (which relates to the content management service) have reported that installing to the C: drive, when they originally used a different drive, fixes the issue.

I don't particularly want to use my C drive as stated above, I had no problems using my d drive when using DS4.5, and all my other progs run fine from my d drive .

I'm not sure there is a fix other than installing to C:. On the other hand, it certainly should work on other drives so I would make a bug report on this.

I gave up in the end and installed it to the C drive works fine now.

You can install your content to a different drive and leave the program on the c drive.
