Lainey Hair

I have used (and loved) Lainey hair without problem. Windows glitched and I had to reset it and re-downloaded all my material. Now when I use Lainey Hair, the "cap" (or scalp?) under the hair shows.  I am not sure if this problem is related to redownloading everything or something else I have managed to screw up.  Am I missing a step or file?

    Iray or 3Delight, or Poser? Or are you just looking at the preview?

    I found it works in 3dl  but not in Iray. Attached are (very) quick renders

    It does have materials for both Iray and 3Delight - are you sure you are using the Iray materials for Iray?

    Did you apply the apply first preset?

    I used the apply 1st. I am using the MDL material

    AHA!!!!    It works if I don't have Gen 8 preselected, add the hair, then use apply 1st and then fit to

    Ah...it's always the simple things. An extra step that I have forgotten to do. Thanks for the reminder!
