Need help organizing content and make sliders appear again

Hi there!

I am a beginner of 3D art and started using DAZ a month or two ago maybe. However, after getting started and making lots of scenes, experimenting with render settings and buying a couple of content as well as grabbing some of the free ones, I kind of dropped the ball. You see, I am not very experienced in using Windows 10 and one day I was goofing around with oneDrive and it asked me to copy some stuff I didn't really want to upload to the it so I declined, or so I thought. All of a sudden the entire public folder with subfolders were transferred to my oneDrive while simultaneously removing them from my local drive. I panicked and hit cancel so there I was with all my local public content removed. I thought I got off easy without wrecking too much, since I never manually put stuff there. DAZ Studio on the other hand does.

I recognized I had a problem when I opened a scene.duf I had been working on and the poses were off. I tried to use the sliders to correct them, but the figure didn't respond to the slider. Naturally, I started googling for an answer to my problems, and reinstalled all my content with the DAZ Install Manager. This didn't resolve it, so I tried setting the installation path to c: users/public/public documents/My DAZ 3D Library and updated my content folders in the Content Directory Manager to match this. Same problem but now random content had dissappeared (!).

I figured I had done goofed enough and tried to start over by uninstalling everything. Not as easy as running an uninstall it seems. I used DAZ Install Manager to uninstall everything, no manual installations, so that's fine at least. Then I went into all the folders on public, program files and program to manully remove the left overs before uninstalling the Manager as weel. Hoping to reset everything to defaults when all was working I installed the Manager, DAZ studio and all of my content again. The problems remained. Some content didn't show and sliders that handled posing and shaping were now removed altogether from my panes.

Not only had my problems remained, they had gotten worse as the DAZ Install Manager now wants to install most content everytime I start up and it still won't show in DAZ studio library. I found a guide on how to reset my database through the Content Database Maintenance and managed to get all files showing in the library again after processing the data. However, the Manager still doesn't realize contents have been installed and my sliders are nowhere to be found.

I really enjoy the software and have spent some money on it but now I am exhauasted and at a standstill ready to give up on it all. If someone could help med I would be really thankful.

Which sliders? The basic transforms on bones are part of the figures so if they are missing the issue is something other than content. Are you looking in the Posing pane or in the Parameters pane?

Install Manager is showing content as not installed on each launch, is it in Ready to Install or Ready to Download? And you are using that to install, not the installation from within Daz Studio?

A good place to start might be with screen shots of the prefrences tabs of Install Manager (click the gear icon at top-right) and the directories set in daz studio (Edit>Preferences, go to the Content tab, click Content Directory Manager, then expand all the entries under the Current set to show the paths for Connect and for the different content formats).

Alright, the sliders that are missing are the ones in both posing and parameters. Not the ones controlling translate, rotate and scale, they are there, but all others are gone. The ones that shape bones such as "bodybuilder" and "bodybuilder details" are nowhere to be found. In posing, examples of missing sliders are the facial expressions such as "anger", "smile", and things controlling poses such as "hip bend". There are no ways of custimizing the figures any longer.

Install manager show things as downloaded but not installed. Only Genesis 2, 3 and 8 Starter Essentials Female and Male as well as Interactive Lessons for DAZ Studio 4.10+ remain under installed. If I go into the folders I find the files, so they have been installed, but the softwares don't seem to believe so. I have only been using DAZ Install Manager for all files, I haven't tried the one from inside of DAZ Studio, didn't now there was one.

I have attached comes the screen shots for folders below.
