compatible figures - Genesis?

Hi, this might sound like a really stupid question but when it says 'compatible figures - Genesis' does that mean any Genesis figure?

Genesis as in the original Genesis

not Genesis 2, 3 or 8

Thanks Chohole, sorry, I'm new to this forum and I'm used to getting an email reply when someone responds on the forums I usually frequent. I got help from sales. It is confusing though. Genesis is the generic name for 2, 3 and 8 , 2, 3 and 8 being the specific name, while Genesis-not 2, 3 and 8 has no speciific name. Thanks

Genesis with no number is the original Genesis     Once they decided to upgrade the figure then they statrted adding numbers.

TO make it even more confusing.  Prior to Genesis we had Victoria and Michael   followed very quickly by Victoria 2 and Michael 2, which were know as generation 2  or Gen 2, then came Gen 3 and Gen 4.

So when Genesis came along it became generation 5 with Victoria 5 and Michael 5 and several other characters 5
Then Genesis 2 spawned off generation 6, V6 and M6 and others.
Genesis 3 had V7 and M7 and the others

Then along came Genesis 4,  only it didn't because the potential for confusion was too great, so no Genesis 4,5,6 or 7.  The next one was Genesis 8, so now Genesis and generation match.

Oh and BTW   if you want to get an email notification for replies to your threads you need to bookmark the threads you wish to follow.  Click on the star icon at top left of the first post in the thread and it is then bookmarked (you will see the star change colour).  Reverse the process when you no longer wish to follow the thread.

Check your notification preferences to make sure that they are set up to suit you.   You find them by clicking on your user name and then clicking on the gear icon, the white one on a blue-ish background square. Click on Edit profile  and then on the next screen click on notification preferences.  Ignore the first 2, the ones about walls, as they don't apply in these forums. Set the others up the way it suits you.  Some like notification in the forum, some like emails, some like both.   If you decide to have notification in the forums then you find then by clicking the gear icon on the Blue-ish line at the top of the page.
