I have read every thread I could find on this subject and so far no luck.

My GT 730 is only CL1.1 and I have followed Rob's instructions on dling the Intel CPU open CL 1.2 and when I install is states a newer version is installed and I still get "No Valid OpenCL device found" error.Yes I unistalled the Intel Graphics Driver etc etc. My CPU is fairly new i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz pretty sure it is a Kaby Lake Bridge and I thought it would have registered with DS and dForce. Any help appreciated.

Yes it has taken me this long to getting around to learning it. :)

oh and I did use Intel Driver & Support Assistant and as far as that is concerned I am fully up to date.

I might have found the problem, The Intel HD 630 isn't listed in Device Manager at all, not even hidden which leads me to believe it has be disabled in the Bios. I gather it isn't just CPU needed for dForce but on board Grapics chip too, does that sound right?

People who have intel GPUs have, I think, had to fiddle around a bit to get the Intel OpenCL CPU driver isntalled, but once you do the Intel GPU is not used (or at least, doesn't ahve o be used).

Yeah whatever I try to install Intel keeps spliting out that my PC doesn't meet the requirements. I am not going into the Bios until my warranty runs out and before that I will have a new GC that can handle Iray and dForce. No biggie,

it won't switch to CPU, you have to set the engine used in the Advanced tab of Simulation Settings (so it's like Iray, but it's a drop down instead of checkboxes).

I am quoting you Richard from another thread. I don't have anything in the drop down box. Well apart from dForce. Any links to the fiddlers for help??

Ok Win 10 Device Manager > Actions > Add Legacy Hardware and follow the instructions. Found my Intel HD 630 and installed drivers, now dForce works.

PS and then back into Device Manager and Disable the Intel Graphics Chipset under the Display Adapter. It seems dForce is still working with it Disabled
