2 Problems...

Hi,

Well i think I really need help with 2 issues

-First one is a error message appearing just starting daz studio ( daz 4.10 pro)-attached-

I don´t understadn weel what this means, seems some problem with my Contnet forlder?

I´ve using the same content folder for years along diferent versions of Daz, just exporting to a new one or a new reinstalation of the software.

But i don´t know why this message appears now...

Anyway all seesm work as always, can load everything working... except one thing!

Which drives to the second problem:

Very effective for me so I´ve using for years and in each new version, even alternating with Iray render mode, depedning what I want to create.

The problem is, that despite 99% of daz stuff, this plugin or set, donesn´t works after exporting the content database to the new reinstallation or cersion of DazStudio.

Seems somethign fails because the set is avaliable to use but doesnt work. The options to configurate the ligth are not visible and all the scene rendered looks black.

I instanll and reinstall the item but can´t made it work as before... I don´t know why. I think there must be some script that doenst loads properly but i don´t what to do.

 

Any help please?

PostgreSQL is the database engine that provides the Content Management Service. Either it's not installed or your security software is blocking local IP connections within ghr machine (it doesn't need access to the web or even the local network, just within your machine).

I assume, by the SKU, that you mean https://www.daz3d.com/advanced-daz-studio-light-bundle (please link to the store page rather than the product library as the latter will work only for people who have bought the product). Those are 3delight lights, so they won't work with Iray, and as they include shader code they install like a plug-in, placing files in the applications folder as well as in the content folders. You would do best to reinstall products like this.

Finally I manage to install and made work correctly the ligthing set. i deleted all the files of it previously installed in my content directories and use install manager assigning the current content path. Now this works... so good.

 

The PostgreSQL issue still remains... i found some help post but even following and dowloading the stuff requied, still pops up the error message. Anyway being not something that hinders me, i will ignore it as till now.
