Does anyone working already with this new Way of Texturing ??

    Well there is still limited support if one isn't using Autodesk products, and even then they are doing a lot of changes behind the scenes to how it works in the lab vs on the workstation so it's somewhat of a work in progress. 3D Coat is one of the cheapest ways I know of to get one's hands into it. Blender has Dynamic Topology and Paint that mimics much of the features of pTex but is not pTex of course (long discussion.) The developer of those in Blender was working on pTex for Blender but dropped it because neither of the native render engines (internal/cycles) supports pTex yet.

    Yep that's pretty annoying. Wanted to test it with blender but the build he made isn't even available anywhere to download. That would have been a good start.
