Problems with SSS and Victoria6

Hi there,

i bought the V6 Pro Bundle today and was playing around with the new models and skins. After a few test renderings with Victoria 6 and some SSS settings for human skin from the SSS Toolbox, i realized, that there were some weird "spots" on the skin (see attached Image). I tried to get rid of 'em by playing with the shading rate/scale, and setting the min/max displacement to 0, but nothing helped.

So I hope that someone out-there got an idea how to solve this problem.

THX in advance!

Nico

It looks as if reflection may be on - try turning it down or off for all surfaces (except possibly the eyes) via the Surfaces pan. The SSS shader leaves settings alone so that you don't have so much to do, but that can sometimes throw problems of its own.

Thanks for the tip. Turning the reflection manually off helped! Problem solved :D
