Its your view tools, click the little x in the top right hand corner of the box if you want it gone. Hit window/panes/view if you want it back.

But.....
Two "view" sections, one lists perspective, front, side.
The other lists Wire frame,smooth shaded etc.
No "x" ????
The image you showed before had a small x in the corner? Are you talking about something different now?
Problem solved, msunderstanding.
Thought the "view" you meant was the two view panels in the camera window.
The view you meant was Window./panel/view.
