dForce, how to stop character from moving back to zero?

Whe I use dForce with "Start Bones From Memorized Pose", it ignores the position and moves my character to zero. This will make the dForce item go below the surface I want it to collide with and nothing works. Is there a way to make dForce use the memorized position instead of zero?

What is the memorised postion? If you want to start from the current pose just turn off Start from Memorised position, if you want to do something else you have to put the figure in the state you want and memorise its pose (File>Figure>Memorise>Memorise Figure Pose). It does seem to ignore root node settings, however, which I have bug reported.

I also struggle with this one. Arranging animations to compensate is clunky and time expensive
