    You shouldn't need to reinstall the DCC, it is part of the main DS4.6 installer.

    All that it needs, is a valid serial number to activate it, and it will become the full version, otherwise it stays as the 'Lite' version (in the same way as Animate 2 does) Go to Help > About Installed Plugins, and you should be able to fond it there, and a place for entering the serial.

    If you didn't buy the paid for plugin, then the lite version is alread installed, look in Window > Tabs > Dynamic Clothing.

    DCC isn't like AniMate, the base and the control plugins are separate and the control plugin isn't currently working with DIM so the installer is needed. The installer did work for me, however, though that wasn't a fresh download. Did you change the location of DS between the last installer version and the DIM version?

    Sorry for steering you in the wrong direction. You do need to install the DCC as Richard says, for the paid for version to load., sorry, I got mixed up.

    The installer will be looking for the dzinstall.ini file to get the location of the application - it looks as if DIM may not be updating that which is worth a bug report, especially as it won't show up for machines that have previously installed DS via installer.

    C:\Users\You\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\dzinstall.ini

    and it should have at least (for the bit versions you use)

    [ApplicationPath]
    dzStudio4InstallDir=C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4
    dzStudio4InstallDir-64=C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4

    Yes, if you install DS with DIM, you need to install plugins with DIM as well, unless you manually add the path to dzinstall.ini
