Getting a progress bar during rendering in DS?

[Getting a progress bar during rendering in DS?] I'm asking this because I opened DS today to work on a saved scene, hit render and I get this progress bar across the viewport I've never had this before. Then when the progress bar finishes the scene doesn't look rendered. It turns out the finished render is opening up in a separate window. Is this something new or do I have an issue with DS?  I wanted to add it's the same progress bar you see when you do a spot render and I did't select a spot render.

There's always a progress bar, but if you leave it centred and render to a new window you won't see it 9unless you bring the main DS window to the front). It sounds as if you did bring the window forward, or perhaps you have Always n Top enabled in the Window menu.
