How do I take one shoe off?

Ok, maybe a silly question, but I put the Bardot sandles on a G8 figure, and I'd like to slightly slip just one of them off the foot. But I can't seem to do it. I've tried unparenting them, and parenting them to a null, but Daz still won't let me move them. I can't seem to select an individual shoe, and even in my scene tab they are just listed as "Bardot Sandles", without a left or right option.
ETA: This issue appears with every pair of shoes I've tried. Even if I load the shoes into the scene without fitting them to a figure, there doesn't appear to be a way to manipulate individual shoes.

Use two pairs of shoes, hiding a different foot from each - select the boens for the foot you don't want, then use the Visible button in the Parameters pane.
Thanks! That will at least stop one of the shoes from showing in the pair. I'm guessing from this that the only way I can get the shoe to be coming slightly off the foot is to load that second pair onto another G8 figure whose foot is in the position I want the shoe, and then hide that figure and one of its shoes?
That sounds clever! I bet it will work.
I just tried it, worked perfectly. What a strange workaround, just to slightly remove one shoe.![cheeky cheeky](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png)
Why do you need a second figure? There's nothing to demand that the second shoe must be fitted to a figure, all you need to do is place the shoe manually in the "half off" position, then parent — not "fit to" — the shoe to the relevant foot.
If bits of the foot poke out through the shoe, you can either adjust the scaling of the shoe to make it a little bit bigger, or add a Smoothing Modifier. This will distort the poked-through parts of the shoe so that it completely covers the foot — in fact, this could give a pretty good appearance of the shoe stretching as it's pulled off.
There are also "dangle" shoes in the store. They work well.

When I've tried loading high heel shoes that were not fit to a character, they were distorted and did not look right.
Ah, never saw those until now. Cool feature! Good looking shoes too. That should be standard in any shoe that could be dangled.
I've had this question when using the ArkTek Cyber Leg Calfblade. I want to have the character wearing only a right shoe and leave the blade as is. I did manage to do a workaround using the techniques above (or simply Photoshopping two pictures together, one with and one without the shoes), but it woud be great if someone could devise a script to make one shoe invisible. I think customers would buy such a script once they realize how many visuals could be enhanced with only one shoe on. The dangling sandal is great, but my idea would work on all shoes and boots.
Dangle Pumps appear to be unavailble now?
Are these still available anywhere now? Link appears dead.
