You need both the PoserCF files and the core files - the PoserCF doesn't have the geometry and textures. You need to place the files, either using the install manager or by unzipping and moving the folders from the Content folder to the destination folder (note that on Mac, if you use the manual method it's best to use an empty destination folder unless you know how to make the system merge folders). The destination folder is any folder you have told Poser and DS to use as a content directory/external Runtime (in DS, in the Content Library pane, right-click on DAZ Studio Formats and choose Add directory, then do the same for Poser Formats - in Poser click the folder with the + icon at the top-right of the library panel).

To set a destination folder for the Install Manager, click the gear at top-right to open the preferences dialogue, click the Installation tab, click the + at the bottom-left and select the folder. Click Accept to close the preferences dialogue, then click the Show Details check box on the ready to install tab (or the ready to download tab if you have the install after downloading option on) and pick the folder you want from the drop-down list.
