dForce settings-Zero Pose

DForce seems to start from a "zero" base pose. can you make it so that the set pose is the starting point?  For example, if you uyse dForce hair and have a hand in the hair, when you run the simulation it starts =from the zero pose so the hand isn't a collision object. Where in settings can that be adjusted?

yes, in the simulation settings tab, under initialization, and then under "start bones from memorized pose", turn that to off.

  • Awesome. Thank you!

Or, if you want to start draping from a different pose, set the starting pose, Edit>Figure>Memorise>Memorise Figure Pose, then apply the pose you want to end up with.

Is it possible to 'tell' DAZ what will be the starting Shape? I mean if I have applied several morphs to a cloth, is it possible for DAZ to set them to Zero
and use a specific starting shape for the simulation?
