Blacks to Reds...

I have a question! Why is it that whenever I render a black texture, i.e a tattoo, it ends up red in the final render? Is there a way to keep this from occurring? Or is this a translucency thing....!

How are you applying the tattoo? Are you using L.I.E.? Are you using texture maps on the surface? I assume that you must be putting your black tattoo on something, i.e. a character skin. How are you doing that?

Most likely the translucency channel color is coming through.  You will need adjust any tranlucency textures to mask out the color coming through.

I've done both to see if there would be a difference, unfortunately, the black tattoo still turns red!

Figured! I was able to work around that by placing the same black tattoo on the SSS texture used in the translucency slot and once rendered it stayed black, however I want to avoid such long practices, is there a much faster process?
