How to get a kid 5 years old model?.

Hello.

I'm a complete newbye in DAZ 3D.

I don't know, I have no idea of how to create or buy a kid with casual clothes 5 years old.

What should I do in order to get it?. May I model from a base model? Which base model should I have for it?.

Just look for a Kid morph for your base figure of choice in the store.
Also, there is the old generation 4 with The Kids, it should work.

The Kids+ Pro Bundle is good and comes with clothing. The technology behind the Kids+ models has been abandoned and they don't get much, if any support.

If you want to use the latest supported DAZ 3D modeling technology, if you get the 

1) DAZ Studio 4.x Pro (software)

2) Genesis 8 Starter Essentials (free - models)

3) And the following list of model products (paid - wait for a sale if you've a tight budget)

then you will find among all those morphs the ability to make a face younger looking, older looking, and same with the body and all. I've done it and it just takes a bit of reading the morph sliders and trying them.

You'd want to buy some clothing too but for that you can look for yourself.

Finally, there is a product called Growing Up for Genisis 8 (Male or Female) that will do all that with one easy morph slider but it always makes the boys and girls look identical and so that's not very good for creating original characters.
