Why has Daz become Sir Crashalot?
![Xade](https://farnsworth-prod.uc.r.appspot.com/forums/uploads/userpics/489/nE3781FD1E2CB.jpg)
Every time I turn around the program quits responding, forcing me to close it out and save constantly. It crashes when I set parameters, or create a morph with morph master, and even when switching activities. I've waited but the circle just spins. I can't work like this please help.

System specifications? Have you tried changing the GPU driver to a newer/older version? What is Edit>Preferences>Interface tab>Display Optimsiation set to? What security software are you using?
There's a (long) thread about this over in the commons:

I'm not trying to fan the fire here, but rather point you to an active discussion that may lend some insight to your specific issues as well.
Apparently, you are not alone, and theories cover windows updates, content updates, graphic driver updates, etc. Hope this helps.

Here is my basic speccy report.
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD FX-6100 42 °C
Zambezi 32nm Technology
RAM
14.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
MSI 970A-G46 (MS-7693) (CPU 1) 49 °C
Graphics
E2351 (1920x1080@60Hz)
HP S2031 (1600x900@60Hz)
1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (EVGA) 32 °C
I don't update my video driver very often due to having a terrible incident where the screens remained black after booting to wiindows, forcing me to reinstall windows. I let them sit for a while before updating to make sure there are no bugs. I'll update it real quick while I wait on a reply and edit it if I'm the last poster.
14GB is a strange number unless your integrate graphics is stealing 2GB and your system isn't using your graphics card
Actually, it's because I have one 8 gb, a 4 and a 2. I always meant to buy three more 8s but newegg quit selling them within my price range :(
I just saw a note related to a newer Windows 10 'Large Code Page' issue that's apparently causing similar problems in other 'heavier' data-oriented apps.
I can't dig up the link now, but I'd bet a simple web-search would yield some relevant pointers. It'd be great if this were it because it could lead to a determistic fix.

Update. Daz has stopped crashing but now Daz is crashing my machine! it can be sitting idle with Daz up and get a blue screen of death. OpenGL often crashes and won't let 3d programs load and more, you can read about it on the Nvidia forum here, where I share plenty of information about my system and more https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1053086/geforce-drivers/since-update-i-ve-suffered-from-random-crashes-/
