I do not understand how to show my figure's genitals.
After loading a male figure I click on the genitalia button but nothing appears.
Any help is appraciated.

Which figure? If it is a Genesis based figure have you purchased one of the relevant Pro packages in order to get the Anatomical Elements. IE Gensesis 8 would Ned Victoria 8 or Michael 8 pro. (or one of the other adult figure pro packages)
Hi, I have most of the genesis 3 males and females characters as well as some Genesis 2 and 8 characters.
By "Michael 8 Pro" do you mean I have to by the pro bundle instead of just the "Michael 8" character (which I already have)?
Yes, the Anatomical elements are only included in the pro bundles. You ony need one pro bundle for each generation as the AE are the same for each main character for each figure.
So Michael 8, Darius 8, Lucas 8, Owen 8, Edward 8 or Ollie 8. I think that's all of them.
For the Genesis 3 it is of course M7 etc for genesis 2 it is M6 etc and f0r plain genesis it will be M5 etc
Thank you for the quick answer.
That being said there is no way I'm going to buy a bunch of stuff I don't need just to get the private parts.
I spend a lot of money here and I find the fact that none of this is made clear in the product descriptions irritating.
Well, I guess using the forum's search function and looking for "anatomical elements" would have given you a) the info about how to get them the DAZ way (see above) and b) information about an alternative source, which also offers additional functionality for a relatively low price. Less than the price of a pro package.. Way less...
And yes, sometimes it helps to check forums for information before spending a lot of money.
A customer should not have to search the forums to discover that the character they purchase has incomplete anatomy. I have no issue with Daz selling Anatomical Elements only in Pro Bundles, but the individual character and starter bundle product pages should make that clear. Then a customer who wants the Anatomical Elements mesh will know that, before they waste money on the products that do not include them.
If too much time hasn'tpassed I think, you can get your money back for one, then buy the more expensive Pro Pack or whatever it's called. They will give you the buying power back on a card Then you can buy the other. I think.
The usual non answer, stop guessing please.
No thanks given.
Yes thank you... but no.
There's no way to know something before you know it and there's pretty much no way for a newbie here to know this beforehand.
People join, they buy, theyb buy some more and then they learn, they do not read the whole forum beforehand.
That's how it works because it's how it's designed to work, let's assign the blame where it belongs.
Thanks but no, it should be their job to make these things easy.
We pay, we should get a better service.
I might have misunderstood your original post, if so I apologize.
I do not know if it is because of your edit.
Thanks nonetheless.
She was saying what you said basically. The products that are human models that aren't in pro bundles probably should say that the product when not in a pro bundle only includes a texture set for the anatomical elements and not the geometry for those anatomical elements.
It's only obvious to DAZ 3D as to why that is the case and not to any of their customers no matter how long DAZ 3D has been packaging their products that way.
Thank you friends... Nonesuch00, Barbult and JMCarrigan.
Shouldn't it be different?
You can suggest it in a ticket since the forums are user to user.
That only helps if you know that Daz's prefered term for genitalia is "anatomical elements". A new user is not likely to guess that.
Considering that I only started with DAZ only a couple months ago and learned that in the first week - after using google to search for G8M genitalia - this doesn't seem to be true for all new users. Probably only those who don't use google or comparable search engines.
I guess the problem rather is the method one uses when starting a hobby. I'm the type of person who - before investing any money .- tries to find as much information as possible, to keep the risk of wasting money low. So when I decided to try out DAZ I spent a week in different forums first, to see how the renders I want to make someday can be done and what would be needed for it.
Others just download DAZ and start to diddle along, see something shiny in the shop and buy it, and then wonder why it doesn't do what they think it's supposed to do.
So... different modus operandi - that's all...
There are several different and imho superior options to the daz naughty bits over at renderotica, no pro bundle purchase required.
Honestly, It really is about time for DAZ to change their policy on this. This is no reason any more, you probably won't lose your PayPal license (they need the money) if they make toast an indepent product or maybe just part of the body morph pack.
