Hi All !!!
I'm sure it is something I am doing wrong. I bought Rhiannon's just released Jorja for Genesis 8 this morning and tried installing; data, People and Runtime in DAZ Studio4.
The problem is Jorja is not showing in Smart Content or in Content Library. I have spent at least an hour trying to figure out why. The only thing I can think of is DAZ is not reading the new files when opening after a restart or I need to use DIM. But I don't know how to use DIM to install files from outside DAZ.
If it matters I am using 7z to unzip the files. I also tried installing a couple of other DAZ oriented characters I bought from Poser with the same results.
Many Thanks in Advance!!!

It's no problem just to unzip files into your content directory. In most cases the products come with a zipped "MyLibrary" or "Content", and then "Data/People/Runtime" folder structure. So you have just to get sure to avoid a "doubled" folder structure (f.e. unzipping the whole archive into the main content directory and getting a "MyLibrary\Content\Data" structure...).
To get the new files shown in the content tab hierarchy you have to "refresh" (Mouse-right) at least for the content branch which is involved (\People\Genesis 8 Female\Characters). The new morphs will be shown in the "parameter" tab hierarchy after you have loaded a fresh Genesis 8 female character. And to get the CMS informed you have to klick on "search known directories for new content". The only disadvantage compared to a DIM installation - as far to my knowledge - there will be no automatic entry in the Smart Content, so you would have to do this manually.
It is for Victoria 4 and Genesis 1. Generation 4 stuff that uses ExP morphs must not be installed through Connect and if you had Genesis 8 Female loaded of course you would not see content for Genesis 1 in Smart Content.
Usually not, although there are exceptions. The content metadata is stored in the /Runtime/Support/ folder, so if the .zip installer doesn't have that folder, then there's nothing to be added to the content database. Don't forget, though, you can manually add things to the database; there are tutorials on the forums here... somewhere.
I would like to thank all the people that replyed!!!!![yes yes](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.png)
I could not find Jorja as she was under Rhiannon, not what I was expecting and Search did not find it.
At any rate she has been found!!!
