Bugged aniMate2?

Alright, so I have no idea what happened, but I bought aniMate2 and am trying to use it but am have serious problems. I can drag from the expressions menu into the timeline and have it play, but the animation won't take effect. If that isn't bad enough I can't change to different sorts of animations, I am stuck on expressions, I've tried everything I can think of to remedy the situation, can anyone help me? Recap, animations don't work, and I can't change from the expressions tab.
