Greyed out product after resetting DAZ database - (SOLVED!)

I know this is a long shot but I am going to ask anyway just in case there is a quick solution. I recently had to reset my content database to fix a problem (which did fix the issue) but now all of my installed smart content shows they are not installed (or thumbnails are greyed out; see attached image). The only way I know to show the content as installed is to reinstall them one by one. Does anyone know of a way to show the smart content as installed again without me doing the obvious?  laugh Oh, and the content does show up on scenes that I have previously saved and rendered but I have to reinstall the product to do new renders.

Thanks for any help!!

If they were Connect installed then reinstaling them should be quick, as the system will see that the needed file is already there.

No there is not an easy fix. Especially if you are a DIM user. If you just download within Daz studio you have to click on each one to download the files. If you use DIM you have to keep making the metadata download until Daz sees it. I know Smart content seems easier but it really is not. Use the Content tab you will find that the stuff you installed is already there you just have to look for it.

In my experience it is easy to get the content that was installed with DIM to show up as installed again. Just go to the Content Library pane and select Content DB Maintenance from the context menu. When the dialog pops up, re-import Metadata. Connect is the problem child in this scenario. Unless you had installed every one of your owned products, there is no way to easily figure out what products need to be reinstalled with Daz Connect to get back to the state you were in before.

Hi Barbult, Thank you very much for the re-import Metadata suggestion! That worked for me! :-)  Everything is looking good as before. Thanks again!
