Iray Server - severe issues with poke-through

So... been using an Iray Server via DAZ for a little while... and while it sorta works, there are some distinct issues
First of all, it doesn't seem to adhere to collision detection, and even sometimes just suddenly decides that something that previously rendered just fine will no longer render (with only minor changes to the scene, ie something that shouldn't affect the actually affected parts, like changing the expression on a face, and having the parts have holes in them...)
So, I was wondering if anyone who has used Iray Server has any solutions to these issues, or suggestions on how to get around them?
The attached images are rendered on the same server, with the exact same settings (it's the same scene, only difference is that the eyes are closed on the one that is broken)
