Content Management Service (CMS) on Mac

Hello,
I'm trying to follow a 2012 Rigging Original Figures tutorial by Blondie9999. At the start it is suggested to STOP the CMS and then RESTART it to ensure the "save" functions will work properly. Other than the pgAdmin3 app, in the PostgreSQL CMS folder, I can't seem to find this on my Mac. Even within the pgAdmin3 app I don't see a "Stop Daz Content Management Service" nor a "Start....". Am I missing something? Is this not needed on a Mac? Is this a moot point for Daz Studio 4.10?
Thanks,
Brian

That would have been written when Daz was using the Valentina databse for the CMS, it is now using PostgreSQL which behaves differently so that section can probably be ignored (and DS will complain if it can't connect to PostgreSQL).
Thank you Richard!
I’m still on Studio 4.8 because I didn’t want to upgrade to Daz Connect. Unfortunately my version of DIM is 32 bit and Apple is dropping 32 bit support soon. Is Daz Connect 64 bit? Is Daz working on a 64 bit version?
Switching to 4.10.x.x will not force you to so anything - DIM installs still work, and can be used in future. Daz Studio and PostgreSQL exist in 64 bit versions (and have for a long time), DIM is currently 32 bit only but daz is aware of the need for 64 bit applications for the forthcoming version of MacOS.
Thanks Richard.I'm going to upgrade to 4.10 and wait for DIM to go 64 bit.
