Clean up Dad Studio

Tried to reinstall Daz Studio so I could have a clean Content Library with only the Basics figures installed. I wanted to do this to reduce file size so that I could save a disk image of my computer. Unfortunately some old content continued to remain listed in Smart Content minus their icons. They just won't go away...

  • One thing that always used to mess me up.. not only do you have a folder in your username folder, you also have one in C:\Users\Public\. Might wanna snoop around in there, if you were unaware..

Reinstalling Daz Studio will not touch your content library. If you uninstall all of your content, that would clean out the library.

You just deleted the content files from your hard drive, but you did not clear the metadata from the database. You can try going to the Content Library pane in Daz Studio and opening the context menu (hamburger menu). Select Content DB Maintenance then Reset Database.

Why are you only going to clean up Dad's studio, doesn't Mum's studio need cleaning up as well?
