Saving figure assets crashes Daz Studio

Hey all.

I just recently installed Daz 4.10 and have come across a new problem that I've not had before. Every time I go to save a figure/prop asset Daz hard crashes.

Since the upgrade I've saved scenes, morphs, material presets, UV sets etc with no issues.

This is a problem some others seem to have had in the past, such as this one:

The fix for that was to re-install CMS. See, I've never used CMS, and have always uninstalled it ever since Daz 4.5. This has never been a problem before, all the way up to the last time I saved figure assets in Daz 4.9 about a year ago. I never even used to get error messages, let alone crashes. It just did what it was supposed to. Like a good boy.

I just really do not want to install CMS, as I much prefer doing everything manually and don't want unimportant software on my machine.

Is it really the only way to fix this? And why is it suddenly a problem when it wasn't before?
