Heyas :')
Firstly, Very Sorry for any confusion while I was out of town on family emergency during my anniversary sale last month. Hopefully DAZ customer support were able to fix any issues. Please send me a pm if you are still in need of help.
Having said that, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your support! My anniversary sale went very well. I'm very humbled to see how many buyers of the Mil3+4 version hairs bought the new ones :') As I said elsewhere, no need to buy if you are fine doing the autofit-transfer-etc yourself, so I'm more than pleased to see your confidence in my work and bought the new versions anyway. They are now DSON weight mapped conformers with improved shapes, mats, and of course the new Genesis1 and Genesis2 fits, plus Poser companion files. Thanks also to DAZ for compromising somehow with the deeper discounts I requested, including the anniversary sale too. ;')
The new hairs - Harlow 2, Portia 2, Deeta 2, Aoife 2, Marisandra 2 and Xylia 2 - are still on sale till July10th. 20% off for intro, or 70% off for buyers of the original Mil3+4 versions. Find them at http://daz3d.com/aprilysh
I will be doing more version 2s for my other mil3+4 hairs while trying to fit a new model here and there lol. Wynter Hair 2 should be coming out soon. :')
Also don't miss my Genesis1 hairs I updated for free to Genesis2 - Gia, Qamra and Yolande. Also Evan, Jordan and Nye to follow :') I posted about this here http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/24482/
Cheers,
April

Thank you so much for bringing more retro hairstyles to Genesis and G2F. I was bouncing up and down when I saw them. This was a great boon to a lot of my characters that had been hanging in limbo.
Thanks for the free Gia hair update - it's one of my favorite hairs of all time :D
Very nice sets
...will Osean and Vayne Braid be among those? Osean is probably my most often used style as it is perfect for scenes with my Leela character when she was still in occupied Zagreb. Vayne I liked to use for her when she was a young girl before the war.
Yes, Osean definitely. Vayne also but lower on the list as I'm trying to tackle the easier ones first lol
Plus I recently found out I'm gonna have to move house later this month o.O so gotta keep things simple so as not to burn out. Kinda lucky I don't have hundreds of products. hehe ;')
Thanks folks :')
Wonderful products, and THANK YOU for letting us know when the sale is over.
*cough cough* Amarseda Hair *cough cough*
...cool. Just getting Osean to work with Genesis for now will be wonderful since I use it so much. I have been doing manual fits however once autofit/parented, figure poses tend to mess up the hair morphs creating unnatural bends and kinks.
Blain and Devonar hair?
Barubary, Amarseda was bought by DAZ and I'm not sure what their plans are... I could offer to do it but it would be low on the list as I'm trying to do my brokered items first :') I do know they have DAZ staff who have done conversions http://www.daz3d.com/xenic101 - might be worth dropping him a line to ask if his work schedule could fit it in before mine ... actually I'll go ahead and email him now :')
Kattey, yep those primarily male hairs are on my list in anticipation of M6 :')
(Honestly got no idea of M6 eta yet, don't ask me! So I might even get to do a couple of male updates before he comes along, honestly not sure. )
Oops, just remembered Genesis2 has a separate male and female base - I better wait to see how DAZ are doing that before tackling my male hair upgrades so I won't have to redo them twice! I'm hoping M6 is already with some advance release group ;') (yes, for a while "ninjas" got them before "vendors", not sure if that's changed! apparently, first rule of ninja club is do not talk about ninja club lol )
...ahh that's right, Osean has both Female and Male fits.
Well, erm...wow, thanks :D
Any updated Armaseda Hair will be an instant purchase for me. And just for the record, so will be Osean Hair :D
Bumping to note that I just bought Portia 2 in the AprilYSH PA Sale, and there seems to be an issue with it. Trying to put the Genesis 2 Female version on Genesis 2 Female brings up the Autofit dialog. Canceling Autofit leaves the hair not conformed. If you accept Autofit, it works, but you MUST leave it at Unsupported/None or things go weird.
I'll file a ticket, but I just wanted to check and see if this was just me or if others were noting the issue. It seems odd that nobody had mentioned it before now.
Heya vwrangler, not happening here, I just redownloaded Portia2 and checked no updates to G2F via DIM, also on DS 4.6.0.18. Curious, please let me know if you find anything :wow: thanks in advance!
As far as I know the preferred base is set via Edit > Object > Scene Id > Preferred Base
(and it should be Genesis 2 Female)
Apparently, my copy of Studio was having a momentary snit fit. I tried Portia 2 again and then Harlow 2, and they both brought up Autofit. And then I tried Deeta 2, and it was fine. So I tried Portia 2 again after that, and it was fine. Tried it a couple more times, and nothing happened. I have no idea what was going on.
Sorry for the confusion. At least I did this before posting a ticket, so that it fixed itself before then.
aww flattered you have a few of my hairs
but oh yes, silly DS lol I get the same temporary insanity with poser, modo, ps, hex... I'm in denial about needing a new puter, win7 on i7 920 2.67GHz with 12 GB is still pretty hot, right?? :shut:
Yes, much better than my five year old dell inspiron 350 with 4gb of ram. In my defense I only got into 3d in the last year but I have this problem of being attracted to shiny content rather than saving for a new pc.
..yeah i was that way for years until I finally said enough and started putting money away and took the time to research how to build my own.
