Fitting Vertigo hair on G3F

I'm able to fit the Vertigo ponytail on G3F.
However, the ponytail end bone is not selectable with the the Bone tool as it is with G8. Is it normal?

If you're using Autofit, yes, that is entirely normal. Autofit tends to destroy the function of bones that aren't part of the normal skeleton of the destination figure.
In order to make G8 hair work on G3, you'll need to follow the steps in this tutorial here: https://sickleyield.deviantart.com/journal/Tutorial-Convert-Clothing-G3-to-G8-G8-to-G3-686682065
The steps are the same for hair as with clothing, except that you can stop after you change the "Scene Identification" (as the tutorial notes -- please do read the whole thing before doing anything), then fit the hair to G3 (autofit should NOT invoke), then do File/Save As ... / Support Asset / Figure-Prop Asset, and save as a differently named hair that you can then use on G3.
Thanks Vwrangler! I have access to the ponytail bone.
Now, if if modify the Height of my G3 character, the hair cap sticks to the head. However the ponytail stays in its original position. Why???
Try just parenting the hair to the head.
I did that.
But still, if I increase or decrease the character's height, the hair base follow the head, but the ponytail doesn't...
