Problems attaching a file to a post

Hi,

is anybody else having problems attaching a file to a post? It worked in the past, but now it uploads the file but then it isn't there (even with files that worked in the upload before).

I tried with different browsers, but the same effect! I tried different file sizes and formats - still not working.

Any idea?

    OK, after uploading the post the attachment is there. Maybe a change in the forum editor, since it was different some days ago.

    It has been doing that with me for a few days too. Like you it wasn't until I accidentally posted to the forum that I saw that the image had been attached after all :)

    Have tried to add attachement to two different discussions.  No luck.  My images are less than 1600px tall and 800K file size.

    Hasn't happened to me for a while, but I've always had the occasional dud upload. No pattern that I've ever been able to work out, it just happens every now and then. I just delete the dud (right click and select "delete" from the menu that drops down) then try again. It's always worked eventually.

    as for file types, you can do txt, an image or a zip

    I create a link to it after as the original often vanishes and reappears

    That isn't the problem here. The images are being uploaded fine but it isn't showing up as being attached in the editor, but when you post it is there at the bottom of the post. It isn't a bad upload, it just isn't showing the attachment has been uploaded in the post until it has been posted.

    Yes... been having this happen off andon for a few weeks.
