Daz Crashing During NVIDIA preview (SOLVED)

Hello, everyone.

I have had Daz for a long time and this is the first time this has happened. Every time I try to preview my scene with NVIDIA, Daz just closes. This started yesterday. I even tried making three different scenes to test whether or not it was something in the scene itself; didn’t fix the problem. I went back to a previous build of windows and that didn’t work either. Today it previewed, but the icons (including the start button) on my taskbar disappeared and my desktop was completely black. I uninstalled and reinstalled Daz and that also did nothing. I have now backed up everything and am resetting Windows. While I wait, does anybody have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

That sounds like a problem with the GPU, possibly driver possibly hardware.

If yoiu have Windows 10 , that is probably why. Microsoft has been replacing Nvidia drivers with their own faulty Nvidia driver since Windows 10 rolled out. The graphics driver doesn't get replaced with every Win 10 update, but when it does, there are usually problems/loss of function that need installing a genuine Nvidia driver to fix.
