Sorry if this has been asked before, but: is there a way to make an object not cast a shadow when using IRay?
It's surely an essential feature when rendering vampires.

Not using the standard Photoreal mode. It is possible with Interactive mode, but that is not without its downsides (it disables emissive surfaces, for one). Two renders is probably the best option.
some usefull tips:
put emssive plane or spot back of the charactere to break the shadow
shadow in ground, in render setting, disable "auto ground" and place manualy a ground away from vampires
Thanks for the suggestions.
