DIM showing updates for items not downloaded..

DIM has started showing updates for products I have yet to download, let alone install its cluttering up the update area.  Anyone else having this problem.  I know just install everything would 'solve' this but I moved to a new machine and am being more selective of what I install at this point for when I am using it, as well as structuring the installed content.   Some updates not downloaded or installed showing up is Happy Campere Essentials, Kids Toys DS, Pocket Filler, Scraac etc.

Are you sure they are not - as far as DIM is concerned - downloaded or installed? Being on-line the update may mask the existing files, one way to check is to search (in your case) for happy while working off-line.

Good thought!  As far as I could tell (though now I know how to really check) as far as DIM shows me, they are not downloaded nor installed when using in online mode.  However with your suggestion I used offline mode and it shows ready to install on Pocket and Happy Camper.  I looked and the Manafest Files are there and the Download Files are there.  As soon as I go 'online' the ready to install goes away.  

So the real issue isn't that DIM is showing me updates for not downloaded or Installed but when online it doesn't show Ready to Install Tab, which makes sense because you should install the latest version but it does kinda break things as you cannot delete or even know its already downloaded already (though thinking about it you know its downloaded even if not installed because it wouldn't show an update DOH).  So if I assume DIM is working then I just need to download the updates.

Never really caught this before because anything I downloaded I had installed before, and was currently holding off downloading/installing things untill I needed them.    It showed me something that fixed itself when I exited DIM and restarted, under ready to install it showed Product updates for non-installed products just they were downloaded before.  If I go offline or exit DIM and come back that goes away.  

So in the end it mostly works, you simply cant delete something if it has an update if its not installed or delete the downloaded files, and you can't tell if updates are for something installed or something simply downloaded.  Since I hadn't been deleting things, thats fine, it also shows how sometimes product get into the wrong install spot as I thought it was installed and chose the update to the same install path (forget what it was called) and didn't concen myself with picking one for that product as I thought it was updaing something installed.  Just a few extra steps doing and offline and filter.
