New Computer -- Can't See Content SOLVED!!!

I just bought a new computer and installed DAZ Studio and DIM. I have all my content on my external D drive which I used on my old computer. I told both DIM and DAZ what folders to find my content in and where to install it to when I download new content. My problem is, DIM shows that nothing is installed and DAZ Studio doesn't show any of my content, even though I told both the exact folders on my D drive where to find all my content.
Do I have to reinstall everything again? And will that duplicate all my content in my D drive folders? Every time I get a new computer, I have problems getting everything pulled together.
Thanks for any help.

DIM uses the Manifests folder to track what is installed, you will need to copy that over from the old machine (it's in the Public Documents>Install manager folder used by default for the Downloads folder, unless you edited the .ini file to move it). The manifests store the absolute path used to install, so if folder name or drive letter for installations have changed you may have to make adjustments.
Is the content not showing in Content Library>Daz Studio Formats in DS, or are you using a database view (Categories, products, Smart Content pane, or the Presets tabs of property panes)?
Richard, half of my problem is solved, thanks to your suggestion. I now have all my files showing in DIM, but when I open DS, I can see only a couple of things that I actually installed on the new computer. A majority of my content isn't showing in DS. I checked the Content Directory Manager in DS and it seems to be exactly as my old computer was set up. My external drive is Drive D, and that's what it's showing. Is there something I can do do refresh DS so it will connect to all the massive content I have in there? Or will I need to actually reinstall everything?
If the content directories are correct you should see everything in the content Library under the Daz Studio Formats and Poser Formats lists - please post a screenshot of the Content Directory manager, and of the folder you have the Runtime and Data folders in.
I don't know if this is exactly what you were asking for, but here they are. I couldn't get the entire folder in because it was too big for the screen. I hope this helps. I did an experiement, however, and I uninstalled Victoria 7 and reinstalled her, and now she shows in my DS content. All my content is stored on my Drive D external drive. That's what I had on my old computer. I just plugged the external into the new computer.
It was the location of that folder I wanted to check.
Oops, sorry! I'm a blonde! LOL
How about this.
And there's nothing in the Content Library pane under Daz Studio Formats>My Daz 3d Library?
Oh my gosh, they're there now. I didn't see them earlier. I still can't see anything in the Smart Content pane other than some new stuff that I bought and Installed just this morning. Now I can access my stuff. I wonder why I didn't see it earlier. Thank you for all your help! I can create again!!!
Try and re-import metadata to try and get your smart content pane up and let us know.
I don't think I've done that before. How do I do that? I've never had a reason to do this before.
I figured out how to import my metadata and YAY!!! It's now working perfectly! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys are awesome!
