Getting G3 Fiber Hair to Work on G8

My favorite hair is a fiber hair set for G3F. I've recently converted the character I use it on to G8, and now I'm discovering it doesn't work correctly. Skull cap proprerly updates, but if the head is moved, the fibers don't follow. Does anybody have an idea about how I might fix this?

It is. Thanks! I thought I was going to have to give up this hair and that made me very sad.
