Muzzle Flashes on Polish's firearms...

I'm hoping someone here can help me out - picked up some of Polish's firearms over the weekend and enjoy them, but I have one minor issue I'm hoping someone can help me out with - the included muzzle flashes.

Specifically, I'm wanting to manually add a suppressor prop on some of them, but the muzzle flashes cannot translate forward to the "new" muzzle point on the combined figure.  They look to be either some sort of bone or armature, but I've never gone full "nuts and bolts" in the software (something, admittedly, I need to do).  If anyone could point me in the right direction on how to correct this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
