I'm looking for dance poses, specifically for the 1930 to 1960's.

Not ballet or Tango as I have some of those.

Would prefer Genesis poses but could probably manage with others.

Anyone know of any.

If you're looking for Western dance forms, this may not be helpful, but I have some bellydance poses for V5. There might be some in there you could use or that you could build up using the partial poses:

I've got belly dance ones, but I really want dances that they did in the 1940s, 50s and 60s - Jive etc.

I've looked for dance poses generally myself. As far as I can tell, in terms of couples dances, there's nothing whatsoever out there for Genesis. There are poses for both Gen4 and Gen3, but almost all of the ballroom-type poses cover only a few dances. There are a couple different sets out there specific to tango, and some general sets that include tango, waltz and maybe rumba. I haven't found anything that would include charleston, jive or anything like that.

Apart from the previously mentioned Just Dance and It's Dance available here, there's also Lone dancer for V3, but those are pretty clearly meant to be 1800s formal dance, so I'm not sure how useful that might be. Windy for S5 is mostly modern dance -- mostly.

There are some pose sets at RDNA that are a bit different, but I'm not sure they'll be useful. "You should be" by A_ and "IGD Just Dance" for V3 and for A3 are 70s style disco. "Rhythm for V4" is an outfit that comes with tap dancing poses, of all things. "Just dance" by Ensary and "IGD Movement" are modern dance. "Salsa Passion" by Ensary might or might not be useful; there's not a huge distance between that and the tango pose sets.

There are also a couple of sets of ballroom dance poses for V3/M3 by Rax at Content Paradise.

And, of course, there are various ballet, belly- and pole-dancer pose sets, but those are probably well out of scope.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Hope maybe some of those can be of at least a little use.

Thanks for looking. Looks as if I may have to see if I can make my own pose!!! That's something new to learn!
