Figure Setup Question

Hello,

Today I tryed the first time to use the Figure Setup. The model I created in Blender3D. In Blender I exported as a .obj file and imported this
file into DAZ. I tryed to use the tutorial: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/creating_content/rigging/tutorials/adding_bones_for_rigging/start.

But when I create the figure the bones are in horizontal direction. Does anyone can tell me what I do wrong?

Thank you,

Reinhard

The bones will be inside the bounding box for the matching group, if there is one, and will be oriented along the twist axis - the first axis listed under Rotation Order in the realtionships tab. It sounds as if all your roation orders are set to xyz.

  • Hi Richard, how to I have to set the rotation orders?

    Thank you,

    Reinhard

Right-click on the entry in the bone's line in Figure Set-up, or you can set it in the Tool Settings pane with the Joint Editor active (but that won't move the bone).
