How to attach a prop to a figure?

Hi guys,

I've imported a hair-prop and I'd like to attach/parent it to Victoria's head... How do I do that? :)

Thanks!

Right click on the prop, choose figure's parent, navigate to figure's head. Accept.

Or in the Scene Pane Drag and Drop the Hair to the Head Bone.

You also have in the Scripts folder a Snap To Parent script. Select the Head bone first then select the Prop and double click the Script and hey presto the prop moves to the nead and is also Parented (but maybe not not positioned correctly).

...the one issue with "Fit To.." is it locks out the transition/rotate sliders. Not a worry for hair made for that particular figure, but it is if fitting hair from another model or generation. For example when using a V4 hair prop on Aiko3, I load the hair prop, manually parent it to the head, then adjust positioning and size using the transition rotation and scaling control until I get a proper fit. Of course this should be done in the default pose otherwise it can become a real pain.
