Help Please!

Greetings!

I'm new to Daz Studio and I'm slowly, but surely, figuring it out. I've been trying to export a Genesis 2 figure with the Super Hero Suit over to Poser 11 Pro and every time I do, you can barely see the suit. From what I can ascertain, it has something to do with the way it looks in Daz before I export it. Here's is a before and after pic. Any help would be awesome! I finally got it looking good in Daz! My Google Foo had left me and couldn't find any other topics about it until now. I still need help with the Poser thing tho. I've attached a screenshot of what that looks like. Interestingly enough his boots look normal.

Thanks!

Paul

I can't rally sort those out - I assume the black floor grid is Poser? Materials don't generally convert well - or at all for custom shaders - so if your goal is Poser you need to do the surface set up there, in the Material Room (or applying pre-made materials).

I dont have this product, so I can't check, but  I see no mention of poser companion files for this. So I guess you're doing an object export from DS to Poser.

You may want to try D3D's DSON loader script for poser to import the suit into poser instead  (if you have DSON installed).

    http://d3d.sesseler.de/index.php?software=poserpython&product=dson_loader

Still you'll need to apply/change material settings.

The readme of this product also mentions artifact problems in the DS-preview window, which I think is what also shows in the poser preview...

Richard: The first to pics are in Daz and the 3rd one is Poser. Thanks for the tip. I'll see what I can do on the Poser side.

glaseye: I'll give those links a look. I did install the DSON into Poser. I did create the poser companion files. When I try to render in Poser, I get the same look as the preview.

    I appreciate all the help!
