Install manager can't find path to Photoshop CS6.

I get the following message everytime I try to install the Photoshop 3D bridge...

"Install Manager cannot find a required path. The package for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio 4.10+ (Win 64-bit)" requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CC, CS6, CS5, CS4 (64-bit)" be defined. Make sure that a path for this application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog, then try again."

I have no idea what it's talking about.  I recently purchased Photoshop CS6 just for this program and it won't connect.  Could someone please explain what I'm doing wrong, in layman terms?

Have you told Install Manager that you have Photoshop, and where it is? In Install Manager click the gear icon at top-right to open prefrecnes, then go to the Applications tab. Click the + button to add an entry, set the Application to Photoshop CS 6 64 bit, then click the ... button to set the location of the application itself. Click Accept to get back to the main window and try installing again.

Well, I got as far and the ... button and it opened a screen that says to Select the Photoshop CS6 (64 bit) path....but I have no idea where to go here.  I have a bunch of abbreviated folders to choose from C:/Windows/System 32.  What now?

Of you installed 64-bit CS 6 you would expect it to reside in C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop (or something like that - I only own PS Elements so not sure of the last bit) . Anyway, if you navigate to that folder in your file browser, you are looking for the folder with the Photoshop .exe file in it. That's the file path you want to add to Install Manager.

Still didn't work.  I set up the path (to my knowledge, it shows it on the screen) and when I tried to install it I get...

"Install Manager cannot find a required path. The package for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio 4.10+ (Win 64-bit)" requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CC, CS6, CS5, CS4 (64-bit)" be defined. This the path I assigned to it...

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Adobe Photoshop CS6

    Any ideas?

That must be the 32-bit version of Photoshop you have installed (because it's in the "Program Files (x86)" not "Program Files") - so sounds like you need to install the 64-bit Photoshop instead?

That is the only one I have.  I downloaded the program last month.  My Photoshop CS3 is in the same folder.  Looks like I'm going to have to do some experimenting.

Well, I reinstalled it in the "Program Files" and it didn't work.  I rebooted and tried again and guess what.  It didn't work.

Please post a screenshot of the Applications tab in Install Manager.

I finally figured it out.  I didn't see a step I needed to do.  When I was assigning a path I didn't know I was suppose to also name the program and version I was linking to.  It's a shame these programs don't come with instructions.  It's mostly trial and error nowadays.

Thanks for your help, Richard and Melanie.
