Resolved - Gareee's Martian Princess Top morph oddity

I imagine this has come up before, but search didn't turn up anything, so...

The Martian Princess fantasy set has 2 morph options, Pointybra 1&2, that don't seem to work correctly.

I think I can guess what they're supposed to do, based on the great fantasy art the set is modeled on. HTML says the set is for Daz & Poser, both, was released in 2008 for Studio 2. V4.2 base and ++ morphs are injected, but not applied to V4 here.

This is what I'm getting with Studio 4.6 64 bit. One with the full top, one with the cup hidden, either way that spike shows up, when I'm expecting just more pointy-ness.

Any suggestions?

Turns out this IS the morph. Go figure.

I think you are meant to get spikes.

    Thanks for the reply, Richard,

The thing is, both morphs produce the same spike, and using both morphs together doesn't produce any change in what either morph does by itself; you still get just that same spike with both morphs dialed up That seems to indicate some issue with the morphs; why have two morphs that produce an identical change?

Between that and the name, and the Frazetta and Boris art that I've seen, makes me think it's supposed to be more of a conical morph of some sort; pointy-er, not spikey-er. Could be wrong. It's a great High Fantasy set without those morphs.

Well, the results are the same in Poser Pro 2014 so I don't know. It is odd that the two seem the same.

The model has two morphs, PointyBra2 which is connected to both the PointyBra1 and PointyBra2 dials, and PointyBra that has no ERC dial in the root.
PointyBra changes the area at the base of the point the same way as PointyBra2, but adds a smaller spike.

ZOMG, it's hard to get a post to go through.

I got the missing morph to display by unhiding its dial in the chest actor.
