Dforce skirt is falling down

I have a skirt for G3F that dosen't come with a dforce material so I add a dynamic material with DForce and set the "Start Bones From memorized Pose" off as I'm not doing an animation. I'm not chaning anything else.

But the skirt keeps falling down from her waist and kinda drops to the floor which is what I don't want. I want it to stick to her waist. How can I do that?

You need a dForce Weightmap, and have to paint on the parts that aren#t supposed to move. On other news, read this thread, it covers pretty much everything you have to know about using dForce on things, and explained much better than I can: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/208141/how-to-use-dforce-creating-a-blanket-draping-clothes-on-furniture-and-much-more#latest

Ah, I hate weightmapping. Its time to learn it I guess. Thanks I'll give it a read.

Depending on the skirt and it's material zones, if it has a belt or waistband as a sperate material zone set that to either be less influneced by dForce or excluded entirely.

Yes it does have an extra material for the waistband. How can I set it so its not influenced?

Set Dynamic Strength to 0 for that surface and it will act as an anchor for the rest of the skirt.

Thank you Richard, that simple little fix worked like a charm.  Skirt kept falling down, set waistband (thankfully had one) to 0 and it stayed and the rest of the skirt draped according to plan!
