I'd expect the announcement to appear in the thread, but this is DAZ we are talking about and it is the weekend :)
it's Monday morning here, c'mon DAZ!$!$ lol ;)
Here is GIa with Kay v4 skin. I originally uploaded Branwen, but I think she is a touch too pale, and I liked this render better.
Not much for posting as you can tell since this is my first post. I decided to post a quick render of a "redialed" Gia Aspen Character I just did as a "pay forward" to those who have shared their renders of Gia. I had decided back on Friday not to buy Gia because I do not use heavy muscular female figures. However, after seeing renders with Gia "dialed down", I thought the product would provide a quick method of adding some additional "body definition" to the G2F figure(s). I am very pleased with what the product provides in just this added capability for G2F figure(s) ...
Just finished this render right now, wanted to post it before I am out for work :D
Nice one, Sedor!
Ran the render through filter forge.
A few closeups ...
I think Gia "dials down" very nicely. She also has some interesting facial features that make her an excellent addition to the G2F gene pool.
I have yet to see a render that has eyes as realistic as was possible with V4. Is this just me, or is there something lacking in the newer figures or possibly the textures? Show me I'm wrong.
So ultimately it boils down to the textures and material definitions used. The geometry is there. If you have the V4 support package for G2F, you can even use your favorite V4 eye textures.
LOL, after all these years, first time I've used that line from Top Gun without it being mildly offensive
Someone say 'watch the birdie ...'? :)
My Gia Character- Seychelle
Even warriors have to take a break!
Seychelle sells sea shells by the sea shore
This is a very nice product

I use it all the time.
GROAN.

G2F + DAZ Horse 2 as a centaur: Forest Guardian (NSFW)
G2F has 60% Gia body (among other dials -- I didn't use a character preset) and the head is pure 100% Gia head. Her textures are Aspen for Gia. I converted the Aspen bump maps to normal maps and then told LuxRender to add the Aspen and Gia normal maps together for her skin. The DH2 skin has normal maps created from the base skin using ShaderMap, since none of the DH2 skins include any kind of height mapping.
The hair is parented to G2F, since autofitting it resulted in an unusable mess. I copied the hair texture to the tail, which seemed to map through well enough to be useable. A bright red/orange tail is kinda odd for a horse, but I figured as a centaur, you could make the argument that the tail hair would match her primary hair...
Render drop.
Gia is just awesome!
Gia at the beach. Roxi with Marisandra hair.
let's play....:)
Gia with a teeny bit of Vicky 6 dialed in
Here's another render I've been working on. Had to try out the Spiderqueen hair... *grins*
To admins/Moderators - (as I said over in my art thread ;P) I hope this isn't breaking the TOS, I realise it's a bit borderline, but I figured it might be ok since it doesn't really show anything, just hints. And if not just remove it *smiles*
The girl is a mix of Gia and V6 (body) her head is Gia, V6, Nyssa, Norma and Genesis 2 female plus a few other misc dials :) The skin, eyes and make up is FW's Sian
Calling the Dragons
Aspen feeling a bit superheroic.
Here's my latest. It feels good to finally use my roman-style content for something. =-)
And you often post as if you don't know how to use this stuff! ;) Good job! Nice!
Gia 6 as 1940's-50's Pinup Girl.
very nice tjohn... good to see her smiling, changes her persona, hehehe
No Temple in Sight (hope this is within TOS)
My first work with Gia.
Well, despite the many, many things wrong with Genesis 2 Female I did buy V6 and Gia because I like the shapes. Yeah, I do feel bad about it. To punish myself, I decided to use them in a render and to top it off (and because Reality 2 currently supports neither SSS nor combinations of bump and normal maps) I used Luxus. Yeah, setting up Genesis 2 Females messed up surfaces in a plugin I'm not really comfortable with, that was a lot of fun...
Not really happy with the result, but I didn't post any renders in a while here, so...
Not bad at all... maybe slight sharpen and lighten in post, and the job's a good 'un
