Ripples in the water

I have an image with two people standing about ankle deep in water. I like the image. Except that the water isn't actually interacting with the figures. There should be ripples or something around their legs. Does anyone have a good fix for this? Either in DS or using postwork?

I use this product. https://www.daz3d.com/ripples-and-wakes-iray If you apply the same water shader, they usually blend in well. There are also some free ripple wake obj at ShareCG that can be used.

Thanks. That looks like a nice set! Sickleyield's catalog is on sale too thanks to the new Splats, Drips, and Splatters product. :)
@thd777 Thanks for the shout-out!
You could also do it yourself with Dformers
There are two ripple planes in the Liquid Pack
Marking that one on my Wishlist too. Thanks, Fishtales.
The download link to the pdf on DA isn't working for me. Looking forward to reading it. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I ended up going with SickleYield's ripples. The Honeymoon Sunset image I was working on turned out just like I'd hoped.
When I move the mouse over the text I get a black menu bar that drops down at the top, there is a download button that works on it.
Other option is fluid simulation.
But for fluid simulation, you must use a different software than DAZ Studio.
Yes, that's the ideal, but it is also a computationally intensive process - even by the standards of the major movie studios who have more computing power than any of us will ever see.
Blender already has fluid simulations. Refer this video for a basic tutorial.
If you can create the water in blender and then import it into daz studio that should give you some realistic 3d effects instead of the symmetrical effects that you get with dformers.
The elephant example was entirely done in Daz Studio with a plugin.![smiley smiley](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
No need to import anything. A bump map was used for the little ripples only (as in the first image in this thread)
And this fluid simulation took only a few minutes.
Other example:
It's working for me. You ARE using the one in the top left of the screen, aren't you?
What plug-in did you use?
It's a plugin I developed, Fluidos. I expect to be released soon.
Thank you!
The engine of this plugin is faster than the old included in Blender.
