Updating content installed with Connect offline packages

For content installed directly through DS connect interface I can see that the icon changes when updates are available. There is also a blue marker for content installed online which is not available for the ones installed using offline packages (.sep and .sea). Though I can see new metadata being downloaded whenever I login, I never saw any notification for content updates for ones which are installed offline. More than 90% of my content is installed offline already. So how are content updates for offline packages rolled out? Are those offline packages on the server also updated everytime the content is updated?

Boy, those are some good questions. You might have to submit a help request to Daz to ask. I don't know if forum users will have that information. Maybe Richard Haseltine will know or can find out.
