White eyes and opaque eyeslashes with daztomaya plugin

hello,

I'm using the "DazToMaya" plugin to import daz caractère to maya. all the texture are well converted for maya except the eyes and the eyeslashes. Eyes are White and Eyeslashes are opaque. i've googled the problem and it seems that we have to manualy correct the issu. But how ? what are the things to change in the hypershade ?

Does any one have solved the problem ?

Thanks for help

There are two ways to manually correct textures.

    1.  Select your figure mesh in the Outliner, open the attribute editor and select the material zones for the eyes.  There are several, so you must correct them one at a time.  Plug in the diffuse and opacity textures where needed.  If you are familiar with Maya, you should know how to do from here.  If not, there are texturing tuts on youtube.

    2.  Open your Hypershade window, select your character mesh in the viewport and choose the menu item "graph selected item in viewport" in the Hypershade.  This menu item is under the Graph menu.  Nodes for all the materials on your selected figure will appear in the adjacent window.  Find the node you want to modify in the window and plug in the related textures.  I have found it helpful to use the iRay settings in Daz Studio as a guide for setting the shaders in Maya, but that depends on what rendering engine you are using.

If you have a basic knowledge of Maya, this will quickly become straightforward.  You will need to learn these skills anyways since DaztoMaya only provides very rudimentary shading for converted Daz figures.
