How do I make a Controller Morph Dial to Combine Genesis Morphs in Daz Studio

I swear I did this once already where I combined all of the muscle flex morphs into a single morph I called "Flex All Muscles" and it just controls the other muscle flex morphs. Now I want to make a controller morph called "Figure Height" that turns all of the "* length" properties of each body type. So it would control the arms length, torso length, and legs length in one dial just as the Genesis 2 Female does.
So I want to combine several pre-existing morphs and just use this controller morph for my own purposes to save some time. Can I do that? I have been searching through these forums for several days and have come up with nothing using every search term I can think of.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, you can. You need to use Property Editor. I think there are several ways to do it. I'd do it through ERC Freeze.
Load your Genesis
Dial all your morphs you wish to use in your combined morph.
Open Property Editor. Wait until it refreshes - it might take awhile, - don't reload the DS, it didn't crash, it is thinking.
In Property Editor, once it finished refreshing, right click on a tab label 'Property Editor', it should give you a popup menu with 'ERC Freeze' option, click on it.
In a next screen Figure/Node is Genesis
Property - > Create New
Put Path where you want it to be and name you want, and other parameters, like limits of your control morph, etc.
Unclick "Create as empty morph"
Press 'Create'
Unclick Restore Figure Rigging on the bottom of the screen (other two should be selected).
There should be a bunch of things (that you dialed before) already selected.
Accept.
Check if it works. Dial it back to zero.
Save as morph asset.
Thank you. This tutorial was very helpful. I thought that it might have something to do with the property editor and ERC Freeze. My problem was that Daz Studio 4.6 was actually locking up either upon opening the Property Editor window or upon clicking ERC Freeze.
If I tried to open the Property Editor on an un-morphed Gen1 then it took some time but it eventually opened. If I then tried to open ERC Freeze on that same un-morphed Gen1, then the program did freeze. By freeze up, I mean that Windows 7 recognized that it froze up and starts looking for a solution to the problem.
If I tried to open the Property Editor on my morphed Gen1, then Daz 4.6 would similarly lock up with Windows 7 trying to shut it down. I have used this same process lately on my Gen2Female figure and it works without issue.
So today, I worked from another computer where I Daz installed. On this computer, I have far fewer morphs installed on my Gen1 figure. I think that is the issue because I was able to follow your procedure without problems. I can now move this morph to my primary computer and continue. I guess that is my punishment for being a morph collector and using GenX to transfer over so many V4 and M4 morphs.
Thanks again Kattey and thanks for all of the great tutorials on transferring Gen1 morphs to G2F. I use that thread all the time.
Oh, you are very welcome! :)
Yes, Property Editor is in great need of some memory optimization. I also use Win7 (x64) and I have a very big list of morphs, - it takes me at least several minutes to load all of them. I usually just go for a cup of tea.
....where is the Property Editor?
Open the Properties Pane. Basically, it's where all your character dials are displayed. The ERC freeze option is available in 'Edit Mode' which you can access by right-clicking.
In newer versions of DS it was split into Edit Mode of Parameters tab and a separate Property Hierarchy pane.
Depending on what you do you might need one or another
If you need ERC freeze, you
1) Select the figure you are working with; we are assuming that morphs and bones are already set in a way you want to ERC freeze them
2) Go to top bar menu, select Window -> Panes (Tabs) -> Property Hierarchy
The new pane should either pop up or open up on left or right, depending on your layout
If you are working on say, Genesis, it should show Genesis as a selected
3) Right-click on your Genesis in Property Hierarchy pane and you'd see ERC Freeze option (all others could be grayed out, it is ok)
4) Proceed with ERC as per tutorial
Some additional information might be useful too
thanks, got it working
maybe I missed something and because I am new I get l ost a lot. This is NOT Poser, which to me since I used it for 22 years things are more intuitive to me there, but I have te G2M male body toned and tuned up fitness and the model looks great but I tried a flex pose all good EXCEPT his biceps looked like puddles...just doesn't fiit the character I was lookiing for... any help?
